According to TrustMark, a government owned accreditation scheme, Motorists are less prone to get ditched off if they are using a trusted and dependable tradesman.

Stuart Carter, the marketing manager of TrustMark had the following to say to supermarket.com, “The work should meet with required company standards that could lead to a major difference between a void and successful car insurance assertion”. He also argued that, “Despite of that, British are finding difficulty in hiring best tradesman like car engineers”. He further added that, “One can opt to anyone like yellowpages but the problem is that there is a huge mess of different brands when opening it up and consumers often don’t understand or even don’t know what those logos and brands stand for.

The researches conducted by insurance.co.uk have also revealed that almost half of British car drivers think that they have been deceived by some rogue tradesman.

Conventionally, March is the month when drivers renew their insurance policies. According to a recent survey made by SAGA, it has been reported out that almost 3 million motorists have cut down to comparatively smaller cars in recent months to save overall insurance cost on the renewal of policy.

It has been said that 8% of motorists, which means, virtually 2 million drivers have gone for smaller engine cars to diminish their monthly insurance receipts as well as cutting tax and fuel costs. Moving further, 8% have augmented their volunteer access to reduce monthly premiums, while remaining 3% have eradicated drivers from their policy.

However, 73% of drivers have done nothing to reduce the overall insurance cost. In the words of Andrew Goodsell, “It is significant to make certain that quality of policy is not compromised and the policy still meets with the requirements of consumers.”

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA), have been advising and encouraging new motorists looking to secure the cheapest insurance for their vehicles to opt for smaller cars.

According to BIBA, the new motorists have very faint chance of meeting with an accident in small model cars, which would mean that they could start building their no claims bonus. Also, cheap car insurances are made available for these small engine vehicles.

Mr. Peter Staddon, the head of technical services, stated: “If you’re learning to drive you don’t need a powerful car, you need to understand the road”. In addition to this, he assured that the people who have passed their tests recently do not need to worry that they will be priced out of the insurance market.

He also added that with the industry constantly expanding on a daily basis there was no cause for concern with solutions being formulated for any budget.
