According to latest poll conducted by insurers in UK, couples in new relationship are much likely to handover keys of their homes than their vehicles. Around 36% of these couples are likely to add the name of their partner in the car insurance policy after the first year of their togetherness, revealed the survey conducted by ibuyeco insurance company. But around 61% of couples give keys of their homes to partners after 12 months. Twice as many of these couples are likely to introduce partners to would be in-laws in the first year than adding the name of their beloved in the car insurance policies.
The poll further disclosed that 31% of men in a relationship were not really comfortable and relaxed while their partners were driving their cars and only 18% of total women got anxious while their man drove their vehicles. Drivers in Wales are more likely to add the name of their partner on car insurance policy while the ones in southern and eastern England were reluctant. Head of Ibuyeco further elaborated saying that as nation, all of us are in love with our cars, so it is not surprising that couples are not surrendering them even to conjugal relation until a long time.
