Supermarket.com can reveal that recent studies in United States of America, that smaller vehicles are more addressed to risk of death of injury, despite the fact that car is fitted with latest safety equipment.
According to the reports of IIHS, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, even with the abundance of safety features such as front crash ratings, electronic stability and air bags, smaller vehicles are less likely to prevent any road accident or head on collision as compared to larger vehicles.
The institute of Highway safety has revealed this fact after testing several vehicles of 2009 models including the Smart Fortwo, Toyota Yaris, the Toyota Camery, the Mercedes C Class, Honda Accord and Honda Fit. The testing has also established the determinants of collision force in road accidents.
