British drivers economize to save on cost of insurance

Conventionally, March is the month when drivers renew their insurance policies. According to a recent survey made by SAGA, it has been reported out that almost 3 million motorists have cut down to comparatively smaller cars in recent months to save overall insurance cost on the renewal of policy.

It has been said that 8% of motorists, which means, virtually 2 million drivers have gone for smaller engine cars to diminish their monthly insurance receipts as well as cutting tax and fuel costs. Moving further, 8% have augmented their volunteer access to reduce monthly premiums, while remaining 3% have eradicated drivers from their policy.

However, 73% of drivers have done nothing to reduce the overall insurance cost. In the words of Andrew Goodsell, “It is significant to make certain that quality of policy is not compromised and the policy still meets with the requirements of consumers.”
