Roads returning to normal
To the delight of police, insurance companies, hospitals and drivers Supermarket Compare can reveal that the alarmingly high number of car insurance claims are now falling, following the recent snowfall which has hit hard scross the UK.
The white out caused the closure of many schools and workplaces causing chaos across country, and with police and ambulance crews on alert as reports of driver careering into lamp posts, trees, walls and off the road alltogether.
The public had been wanred to only travel if deemed absolutely necessary as roads blizzards worsened and the snow deepened.
Many car insurers reported a vast increase in car insurance claims and one insurer, Esure registered a 100% rise in claims by 11am on Monday.
